(LITTLE) RAIN MAN
Got this adorable pic of Ash monkeying around in the rain today. "Mommy, it's Sadie Raining!" he loves to yell.
There were probably better pics taken, (higher quaility, what have you), but my heart latched onto this one the tightest. <3

THRILLING 2 BIRDS WITH ONE CLICK
Recently a little birdie asked me to take a a birdie pic for her. Well... a seagull flew overhead me today & finally made that possible. This one's for you, Dree. xo

EASTER HUNNY
Okay, so Easter is still a ways off, but with the stores Eastered-out to the nines & all the bright, whimsical stacks of candy splashed about... I couldn't resist propping Sadie on this mountain of marshmallow eggs to ham for the cam.
Like a pro, she sweetly obliged... gurgling & giggling up a storm, stopping many a passer by in the process, melting hearts from a meter away.
The other contender for today. So cute I thought it begged to be a BONUS PIC .

DREW THE LOOKING GLASS
I thought while Sadie was down for her nap today & Ash was engrossed in his computer, I would bring lunch out onto the deck with me so I might enjoy the sun. I slapped my Glamour to reread, as well as my shades onto the table in order to fashion a quick sammie & when I went to pick them up afterwards... noticed it looked as though darling Drew had decided to try on my sunglasses. This pic is a more properly positioned version of how it appeared. :)

GRAFEETI
What with all the warm weather we've been having, the kids & I have practically lived at the park the past few days.
It's been fun having Ashie home for Spring Break. He loves to hug trees & play leap frog & push the stroller around & show his sister off.
I'm sure today in my yellow dress & jeans & funky footwear, we could be seen from a mile away. :)

PRETTY IN PINK
Since the grocery stores are all decked out for Easter, so are the flower departments, and while I didn't spot Drew in amongst all blossoms & buds, (can't enter that section without thoughts of her stint on Bill Nye) I did see these fluorescent pink dyed daisies.

SUGAR TOWN CLOWNS
Stopped by the closest thing Kelowna has to a Sweet Shop today to satisfy a big candy craving.
Some People Pops wound up as my purchase. :)

METALHEAD & PETALHEAD
Mommy got a package in the mail Friday from my dear Auntie Smashley! This darling flower head-wear was inside, so naturally, I was in store for a super huge photo shoot on Saturday! <3
Check big brother's journal later tonight for more piccies, & don't forget mine as well! :)

RAINING QUEEN
As of today, Sadie is officially 8 months old, (just 4 months shy of a year, whaa?) and BabyCenter sent me THIS e-mail.
Well, sure enough, Little Miss Shopsalot & I are out today running errands when she decides to start waving. Of course my hand is on my camera in a milasecond!
I went around all day drifting from task, distracted by the beautiful flutter of those fat little fingers! So exciting! The picture of day could have be nothing else! :)

We bought these big fat juicy strawbs today that taste like they've been dipped in freakin' sugar!
They're BIGGER than Sadie's hands, sheesh! :)

MUN-OPOLY
Family Game night is one of those things I used to fantasize about, growing up. My family didn't do that, I never even learned the basic card games, so gathering 'round the table after dinner with my own kids & my hubby's been a dream of mine two decades in the making.
Nearly every evening when the supper plates have been cleared away... this is what we do. And it beats any TV show, which we can't do regardless since we waved goodbye to cable.
Ashton delights so much in throwing dice and moving tokens, takes so much pride in playing whether winning or losing. I lose myself in his shrieks of pure laughter and glee... hearing it sometimes long after he's been tucked into to bed.
I can only imagine how much more fun it will be when there's a second set of lungs to fill the room up with sweet giggles. For now, Sadie sits on my lap, wide-eyed at big brother's breathless energy & deep resounding chuckles.
