Pixel dust sprinkling #56

SUGAR TOWN CLOWNS

Stopped by the closest thing
Kelowna has to a Sweet Shop
today to satisfy a big candy
craving.

Some People Pops wound
up as my purchase. :)

Hi Salla!

Well, ya know how the saying
goes... Any friend of _______'s
is a friend of mine!

In this case... any friend of
Ashley's is a friend of mine!

MIND is the last thing I would
do if you added me! I haven't
explored your journal yet, but
just by your icon alone I can tell
I'm in store to be SMITTEN!

I like your name, too, Salla.
It's like Sally, (obviously), :)
which has a very sweet sound.

Thanks for liking my piccies &
seeking me out! I'm excited
to know ya! <3

yay, added you!

What an incredibly sweet
comment! :) You seem like
an awesome person and I
really can't wait to get
to know you!:)

Thank you! Actually, I think
Salla is a Finnish form of Sally!
I think it was first Salli and then
from that came Salla. And there's also
a town called Salla in the Finnish
Lapland! hee.

oops, gotta get my butt to bed,
it's WAY past my bed time. haha.

More than just okay! :)

Honored to have been
added!

And by the way, your
name is really cute. Is
it short for Melinda or
something?

I'm Melissa, but have
gone by Missy most my
life. In school though I
got Lissa quite a bit.

Anyway, hooray to a new
pic journal on my F-List!

Love the vivid colors!
I think 100 pounds of chocolate would have been my purchase! I've been very bad lately.

awww, they're so creepy it's cute.
lol. plastic faces with big smiles usually
make me feel funny. seen too many horrow
movies...

the sweaty guy in the middle is my fav though.
man, if i walked into a candy store right now
i'd run out with a pillow case full of stuffs.
you did very well :)

they kinda look like the big blowup balloon guys
with the lead bottoms.. ya know what i mean? the
kind in funhouses & stuff you can punch over & they
right themselves standing again.

thass what i thought these were on first glance.
but People Pops are muuuuuuch tastier.

the guy in the background has a little bandage on
his head? hahaha. maybe you punched him anyway?

gahh. goofy mood.

XOXO

Ughhh I've spent about 20 minutes trying
to find out the name of what these remind
me of (besides Otter Pops!). I've having
no luck coming up with right search terms,
but essentially it's that arcade/carnival
game (I played it at Chuck E. Cheese a lot)
where you throw a ball at the creepy guys
who look just like these to knock them over.
Do you know what I'm talking about??
I know that they have a funny name and I've
seen a little segment on tv about people
who collect them ... it is driving me MAD!
They're called "busters" or "pirates" or something.

Well anyway ... what are these suckers?
Exactly that, lollipops? You are most
definitely a lolli-lover, huh? I'd love
to see more of your sweet shop, sounds cool!

It also just got a Brady Bunch song in my
head called "Sugar Shoppe", hehe. Love it.

OH PRAISE THE LORD I FOUND THEM!

They're called "punks" and here's
an image to demonstrate their
similarities to your pops!

You don't even know the weight that
has been lifted off my shoulders
now that I don't have to try to
remember what they're called!
